INSTRUMENTALIST + ENSEMBLE
For jazz and other auditions requiring a rhythm section or ensemble of up to four musicians.
Record your instrumental audition video with a band up to a quartet, captured with professional video/audio equipment and produced with university/competition standards within one week of the recording date.
Band accompanists are booked by the student, however, we do have connections to locally recommended musicians if needed.
- COST: $350 for up to 1.5 hours of recording
- DELIVERABLES: 3-4 songs produced and shared via Google Drive
INSTRUMENTALIST + ENSEMBLE
For jazz and other auditions requiring a rhythm section or ensemble of up to four musicians.
Record your instrumental audition video with a band up to a quartet, captured with professional video/audio equipment and produced with university/competition standards within one week of the recording date.

YOUR AUDITION INCLUDES:
- Private recording session at The Sanctuary Studio
- Access to our Yamaha C2 grand piano
- Professional video and audio recording
- Professional recording engineer
- Multiple takes within your allotted session
- Production of your selected 3–4 performances
- Delivery of submission-ready files via Google Drive within 7 days
Note on production: Performances are captured with professional audio and video equipment and prepared according to the standard submission requirements most universities and competitions. We do not edit or alter the musical performance.
Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly will I receive my videos after the recording day?
We guarantee delivery of produced audition videos to standard within 7 days of the recording date. A rush fee of $50 is charged for students who need a faster turnaround.
Can our session go overtime?
This depends on the schedule day-to-day. If there is studio time available after your scheduled recording time, overtime is possible for an additional $75 per 30-minutes or part thereof.
Can we request revisions?
If revisions are due to mistakes or technical challenges on our end, revisions are possible. If, however, a revision is required because the information provided to us was incorrect (for example, names and/or song titles), a $25 fee is charged per revision.
What are your payment terms?
We invoice our clients and require full payment within 48 hours of the planned recording session. Payments can be made via credit card or Zelle to simon@thesanctuarystudio.org.
What is your rescheduling policy?
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours are non-refundable.
What piano will I be recording with?
The studio features a Yamaha C2 grand piano in excellent condition, professionally maintained and regularly tuned.
Is the piano kept in tune?
We tune our piano completely on a monthly basis, and we do touch-up tuning weekly and/or before every audition recording.
