OPEN MENTORSHIP IN THE ARTS & HUMANITIES
A free-flowing and interest-driven mentorship program offered to curious minds and restless souls.
Helping people young and old to follow their own golden thread throughout the arts & humanities.
The Open Mentorship program serves as an alternative to more classical approaches to education in the arts and humanities. Rather than presenting students with predefined curriculums, the mentor serves as a guide while the student embarks on a unique adventure led by their own curiosity. In such a way, the student is introduced both practically and intellectually to a broad range of art-forms, crafts and studies in a manner that is personally meaningful and enriching.

PROGRAM INFORMATION
A path to self-knowledge, wisdom and belonging
The arts and humanities is a term that encompasses the many ways in which people have captured and expressed their creativity and insight relating to our shared human experience. Philosophy, music, poetry, literature, theatrical arts and visual arts may all seem like vastly different paths for such expression, but when explored broadly and with wholehearted curiosity we begin to see that they are all connected, and that they each help us to gain deeper self-knowledge, wisdom, and belonging in the world.
The Open Mentorship program invites students to follow their own curiosity, exploring these many paths of human expression, all with the aim of becoming a wiser and more well-rounded individual.
Who should apply?
This program is for people young and old, and there is no need to enter the program with any existing ability in a craft, art-form or area of study within the arts and humanities. All that is required of a student is a genuine curiosity and desire to explore the arts and humanities in an engaging, enlightening and perhaps at times a challenging manner.
