Nathan Gutierrez is a jazz drummer from the Inland Empire with a deep passion for the straight-ahead and bebop traditions of jazz. He has studied with Jessica Ragsdale and legendary jazz drummer Jeff Hamilton, and performs primarily throughout Orange County. Dedicated to developing his own voice on the instrument, Nathan continues to grow as a musician through collaboration and a commitment to carrying the jazz tradition forward.

Join the Nathan Gutierrez Quartet for an evening of original compositions and arrangements by Los Angeles–based jazz guitarist Graham Dechter. Inspired by the legacy of groups like the Oscar Peterson Trio, the Poll Winners, and the Ray Brown Trio, Dechter draws from these jazz titans while putting his own stamp on the Great American Songbook. Dechter’s music has been a source of inspiration for the quartet, which looks forward to performing his repertoire together.
